Students will learn how to cut fabric pieces using a rotary cutter, ruler and mat; how to sew an accurate ¼” seam; how to create various blocks using straight seams; how to add sashing, cornerstones, and borders. There will be a discussion on quilting techniques and a demonstration of binding.

The teacher will demonstrate cutting & sewing techniques. Then students will work on their blocks in class. Additional sewing will need to be completed outside of class.
