Color Me Quilt (The "Crayon" Quilt)

Have fun building up your stash (or getting rid of your scraps) while working on this colorful quilt. In class, you will learn how to rotary cut, sew an accurate 1/4" seam, use templates and add borders to "square up" your quilt.  If time permits, Ann will go over prepping your quilt for machine quilting and how to add binding.

SUPPLIES:

PATTERN: Color Me by Emily Herrick (available at New Pieces)

FABRIC: 100% Cotton, 4-5 fabrics for each crayon. Students may opt to share extra fabrics (up to 20 per color)

SEWING MACHINE in good working ordr with a new needle (Schmetz size 75 style 130/705 H-Q recommended)

Rotary Cutter, mat, and acrylic ruler, paper scissors, thread snippers, thread, pins, (wonder clips optional), seam ripper
